Benedictine baseball falls in the state semifinals
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Benedictine baseball team fell to North Oconee in the state semifinals on Thursday at home at Brian Parker Field.
In the first game of the doubleheader, Benedictine led 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth after a solo home run from Jadon Muller.
However, they would not score another run in the contest while giving up the next five runs. They lost Game 1, 6-2.
In the nightcap, Benedictine threatened to tie the game at two in the top of the seventh inning with the tying run 90 feet away.
