Big Brothers Big Sisters Set to Host Annual Ignite 5K Race

ST. JOSEPH, Mo.— The fourth annual Ignite 5K race, organized by Big Brothers Big Sisters St. Joseph, is set to take place on Saturday, June 20. The event will kick off at 8 a.m. at the Bode Ice Arena, where participants will run along the scenic bike path of the St. Joseph Park System, turning around at Bartlett Park.

For those interested in joining the race, the entry fee is $30, and registration will remain open until June 20th at 11:59 p.m., according to details provided on the event's website. Participants who register in advance can collect their race packets on June 19 at River Bluff Brewery from 5:30 to 7 p.m., or they can pick them up starting at 7 a.m. on the day of the race.

Every dollar raised from the event will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters St. Joseph, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering local youth. The organization connects children aged 7 to 14 with adult mentors to support their growth and social development.
