Buccaneers Announce Schedule for Open Training Camp Practices

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are nearing the conclusion of their organized team activities (OTAs) and are preparing for their upcoming training camp. As part of this preparation, the team has unveiled a schedule for several open practices taking place in July, following their summer break. The mandatory mini-camp is set from June 16 to June 18, after which the training camp activities will begin.

Fans will have the chance to attend eight open practices, starting on July 30 and continuing through August 9. The sessions on July 30, July 31, August 2-4, August 6-7, and August 9 will be accessible to the public, offering supporters a unique opportunity to watch their team train and potentially meet players and coaching staff. Some of these practices will be exclusive to Krewe Members and other select groups.

Open practices are a popular tradition in the NFL, allowing fans to engage with the team and witness the preparations leading into the season. In 2025, the Buccaneers had nine such practices, highlighting their commitment to fan interaction. Brian Ford, the Buccaneers’ chief operating officer, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming training sessions, stating, “We’re counting down the days until we can welcome Buccaneers fans back to AdventHealth Training Center for the start of training camp and the 2026 season.”

Ford emphasized the importance of fan presence, noting that their passion and energy significantly contribute to the players' preparation for the season ahead. Training camp offers a crucial opportunity for athletes to gear up, often enduring the challenges of summer heat during both padded and non-padded practices.

After a disappointing 2025 season, where the Buccaneers finished with an 8-9 record and missed the playoffs, the team is eager to revitalize its performance and make a strong push for the postseason in 2026.
