C.J. Ham Hosts Family-Centric Youth Football Camp
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — C.J. Ham, the former Minnesota Vikings player, celebrated the fourth edition of his youth football camp on Sunday, welcoming not just young athletes but also his family to the event. Ham's wife, Stephanie, who he met during their college days at Augustana University, was on hand to assist with the camp activities.
This year, the spotlight shone brightly on their youngest son, Trip, who was old enough to join in on the fun. Both Ham and Augustana's head coach, Jerry Olszewski, expressed delight in witnessing Trip's burgeoning passion for football. “It’s amazing to me now to see my five year old son really take a liking to football,” Ham shared. “He’s out here having a great time. Usually he’d be out here for a couple minutes and he wants to go stand with dad or stand with mom but he’s out there having a blast.”
With his NFL career now behind him, Ham looks forward to spending more time in Sioux Falls and engaging with the community alongside his family.
