Just a week ago, it seemed that Sorsby would not be pursuing an NFL career in the immediate future. Now, thanks to a court ruling allowing him to play during the 2026 college season, he is set to declare for the NFL Supplemental Draft. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that Sorsby is viewed as a first-round caliber talent, which could complicate the Browns' quarterback dynamics.

At 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, Sorsby possesses impressive physical attributes, making him a highly coveted prospect. If the Browns choose to select him, it could mean tough decisions ahead for the team, particularly for Sanders, who is currently vying for the starting role alongside Watson. Despite the skill Sorsby brings to the table, Browns offensive coordinator Todd Monken has expressed skepticism about adding him to the roster. “I don’t think we’re in a position to want to go down that road,” Monken stated earlier in June, highlighting the complexities surrounding Sorsby’s past issues. While Monken’s perspective is clear, the final decision rests with higher management, who may prioritize talent over concerns.
