Cleveland Cavaliers do unthinkable to New York Knicks super fan Fat Joe
The NBA Playoffs are nearing the point of deciding the conference champions. The New York Knicks hold a 3-0 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers heading into Monday’s Game 4. At this point, a trip to the NBA Finals feels almost inevitable for New York. Still, don’t count out the Cavaliers from doing everything possible to keep their season alive.
That effort apparently extends beyond the players and coaches. According to reports, stadium ushers and ticket office personnel may also be getting involved. On Monday, the Cavaliers allegedly made a move that left Knicks superfan Fat Joe speechless.

According to a recent report, the Cavaliers revoked Fat Joe’s Game 4 court side tickets. The rapper claimed the organization informed him that Knicks fans were not permitted to sit court side. ‘New York Knick fans can’t sit courtside’
“We had bought some courtside tickets to the game and once they found out it was superfan Fat Joe, they was like, I can’t sit courtside. New York Knick fans can’t sit courtside,” Fat Joe said the NBA Today.
“They took the tickets away court side after we purchased it, so shame on you all.”
The Cavaliers later responded by explaining that Fat Joe purchased the tickets through the resale market. Because of the nature of the event, the organization said those courtside playoff tickets were not eligible for resale.

Technically, the explanation makes sense and provides justification for the decision. However, to the average viewer, the move appeared to be an attempt to prevent Knicks fans from taking over the arena. The Cavaliers are not the first team accused of trying something similar.
Earlier in the postseason, the Philadelphia 76ers publicly stated they would not sell tickets to Knicks fans during their playoff series. Although the Knicks eventually won that matchup, the 76ers were at least transparent about their intentions.
Now, the Cavaliers are facing criticism after denying courtside access to one of the Knicks’ most recognizable celebrity fans. If New York completes the sweep on Monday, expect Fat Joe to turn things “All The Way Up” while celebrating the Knicks’ trip to the NBA Finals.
