Colts have 31 players in for tryout during rookie minicamp

Rookie minicamp is underway for the Indianapolis Colts. The two-day event will take place from May 8-9.

Participating will be the Colts' eight draft picks, along with the 12 undrafted rookies the team signed.

But in addition to those 20 players, those already on the roster who do not have an accrued season in the NFL under their belt can take part as well.

For the Colts this year, that is RB Ulysses Bentley, CB Robert Carter Jr., CB Wyett Ekeler, G LaDarius Henderson, WR Owen Coleman, DT Tim Smith, TE Carson Towt, and LB Devin Veresuk.

Teams are also permitted to have players in for a tryout as well. These can other undrafted rookies who didn't land with a team or players who have been in the NFL.

The Colts are hosting 31 players for this year's rookie minicamp tryout, all of whom are rookies, according to Mike Chappell of FOX59.
