Dylan Haley Chooses Tennessee Over Ole Miss in Recruitment

Tennessee has successfully secured the commitment of Dylan Haley, a talented cornerback from Georgia, as the final phase of his recruitment unfolded. Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 180 pounds, Haley hails from Flowery Branch, Georgia, and after official visits to both the Volunteers and Ole Miss, he decided to join Josh Heupel's team.

Despite a strong effort from Ole Miss during his recent visit to Oxford, it was Tennessee's visit to Knoxville that ultimately made the difference for Haley. “This visit definitely solidified some things,” he shared with Rivals, highlighting the impact of the experience.

The Volunteers had been gaining traction in Haley's recruitment for several months, and the official visit allowed him to connect more deeply with coaches, players, and the support staff. “I would definitely say the vibe of the players and coaches,” Haley remarked. “Just getting to hang out with people I’ll be with all the time was good.”

The relationships built throughout the recruiting process played a crucial role in his decision, as Haley felt a strong sense of belonging from the outset. “The staff since day one has made this place feel like home in and out,” he noted.

Haley was also impressed by the electrifying atmosphere at Neyland Stadium, stating, “The atmosphere is crazy. Even when they don’t play an SEC school, that stadium is always sold out.” With the decisive visit, Tennessee effectively distinguished itself from Ole Miss, securing Haley's commitment.
