Easton Stick Joins Colts, Strengthening Quarterback Depth
The Indianapolis Colts are preparing for training camp by evaluating their complete 90-man roster, with a focus on quarterback Easton Stick, who proudly dons jersey number 4.
Height: 6 feet 1 inch
Weight: 224 pounds
Age: 30
NFL Tenure: 7 years
College: North Dakota State
Stick became a member of the Colts on June 1, during organized team activities (OTAs), following the release of quarterback Seth Henigan. Prior to joining the Colts, Stick spent the 2025 season with the Atlanta Falcons, though he did not see any game action.
A fifth-round draft pick in 2019 by the Los Angeles Chargers, Stick has played in six games throughout his career, starting four of them. He boasts a completion rate of 64% on 175 attempts, accumulating 1,133 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. His knowledge of Shane Steichen's offensive system is an advantage, as the two previously collaborated in Los Angeles.
Looking ahead to the 2026 season, Stick is currently positioned as the fourth quarterback on the depth chart. His place on the final roster may depend on the future of Anthony Richardson. Should Richardson remain with the Colts, Stick might find himself on the practice squad or even released. Conversely, if Richardson is traded, Stick could rise to the role of QB3 on the initial roster, as the Colts typically keep three quarterbacks under Steichen's leadership.
