Perez confirmed that a formal bid would be made on Tuesday for a star player from a Champions League team, with expectations that the transfer fee will set a new record for Real Madrid. He hinted that the player is likely to be an attacking midfielder, stating, “It’s not Haaland,” and ruled out any targets from the Premier League, aiming instead for a signing that will rejuvenate excitement among fans.
