Iowa 2026 football schedule: 4 game times announced

Hawkeye football is creeping closer.

On Wednesday, four Iowa football kickoff times were announced, including the season's first three dates.

The Hawkeyes will open against Northern Illinois on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 3:15 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network. Then, in Week 2, Iowa hosts in-state rival Iowa State on Saturday, Sept. 12 for a 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff on NBC. Iowa will meet fellow in-state foe Northern Iowa on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. CT on FS1.

Lastly, the Hawkeyes will host Nebraska on Friday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. CT on CBS for the Pioneer Heroes Game and for Senior Day.

Iowa's Friday, Oct. 9 date at Washington was previously announced as an 8 p.m. CT kickoff on either FOX or FS1.
