Iowa State has successfully attracted a promising talent in the 2027 recruiting class, as wide receiver Braylon Lane has changed his commitment from Houston to the Cyclones. Following an official visit to Iowa State, the three-star prospect made the decision to join the team.
“It’s a better fit for me,” Lane shared with Rivals regarding his choice to switch allegiances. He emphasized the potential for personal growth, stating, “They will develop me more. To get me to where I want to be.”
Lane, who hails from Houston, Texas, is ranked as the 116th wide receiver nationally for the 2027 class and holds the position of the 108th overall player in Texas for this recruiting cycle.
