Isaiah Hartenstein has become a crucial player for the Oklahoma City Thunder, making a significant impact since joining the team through free agency last season. The 28-year-old forward signed a three-year contract worth $87 million in July 2024, but the final year of his deal includes a team option valued at $28.5 million. As the Thunder anticipates extensions for Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren, their payroll is set to increase, making Hartenstein's option a matter of strategic importance. But whatever happens, I’m truly grateful.” In the past season, Hartenstein played in 47 games, starting 46 of them, and averaged 9.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
