Jalen Reagor Joins Miami Dolphins in Search of Redemption

Wide receiver Jalen Reagor, who spent last season with the Minnesota Vikings, has officially signed with the Miami Dolphins as he aims to revitalize his NFL career. After being drafted 21st overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020, Reagor has not yet reached his potential, but he continues to find opportunities, now under the guidance of Dolphins’ new quarterback, Malik Willis.

The Dolphins announced Reagor's signing on Tuesday, a move intended to strengthen their receiving corps, which recently lost key players Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle during a roster overhaul led by general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan. Reagor, who recorded 64 receptions for 695 yards and three touchdowns in his first two seasons with the Eagles, transitioned to a more specialized role as a punt returner while with the Vikings amid a crowded receiving lineup featuring stars like Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen.

Throughout his five-season career, Reagor has struggled to make a significant impact on the field. He has a total of 86 catches for 1,037 yards and four touchdowns, alongside 97 rushing yards, which does not reflect his first-round draft status. After limited usage in Minnesota and a brief stint with the New England Patriots, where he showed promise as a returner, he finds himself in Miami with an opportunity to prove himself once again.
