Landon Hood, Gonzaga Pitcher, Joins LSU After Impressive Season

During his time at Gonzaga, Hood was honored as the West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year. Prior to his collegiate career, Hood was recognized as the Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year in 2025, where he showcased his talent by throwing 17 complete games, striking out 138 batters, and finishing his senior year with a stellar 0.98 ERA at Canyon View High School in Waddell, Arizona.
