In softball, the Division III losers’ final saw Rogers triumph over Exeter-West Greenwich with a commanding 13-1 victory. Pitcher Lila Leys delivered an outstanding performance, both on the mound and at the plate. After conceding an early run, Leys equalized with an RBI double and contributed further with a critical two-run single from Norah Gardullo, giving Rogers a 3-1 lead. The Vikings continued to dominate, adding runs in subsequent innings, leading to a walk-off win due to the 12-run rule. Leys finished the game with a perfect offensive display, going 4-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs. Gardullo also shone, collecting three hits and four RBIs. Rogers now faces top-seeded Tiverton on Sunday at 1 p.m. in a bid to force a deciding game for the title.

In boys lacrosse, Westerly secured a spot in the Division II final with a decisive 16-4 victory over Prout. The Bulldogs established an early lead, finishing the first half strong with a 9-3 advantage. Evan Morissette was a standout, scoring six times, while Caleb Williams added four goals. The Bulldogs’ offensive momentum carried into the second half, allowing them to maintain control throughout the game. This marks Westerly's third trip to the finals in four years, as they aim for their first D-II championship against defending champions Portsmouth on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, Mt. Hope decisively defeated North Smithfield 17-3 in the Division III semifinals, showcasing their offensive prowess right from the start. The Huskies' Charlie Knapman led the charge with five goals, supported by teammates Ben Browne and Nathan Carpenter, who each contributed four goals. Mt. Hope’s victory sets them up for a championship clash against Lincoln at Brown University on Saturday at 4 p.m.

In the Division IV semifinals, Scituate overwhelmed North Providence with a score of 17-3, advancing to the championship game. Though originally scheduled as a forfeit, the match was reinstated and the Spartans delivered a dominant performance. Leading the way for Scituate was Grant Bailey with four goals, alongside contributions from Caden Gurjian, Jacob Robinson, and Austin Dutra, who each netted three goals. Scituate will face Rogers in a rematch of last year’s final on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Finally, in girls lacrosse, Smithfield overcame Pilgrim 13-9, ensuring their place in the Division III final. Despite a strong start, the Sentinels had to fend off a late charge from the Patriots, led by the Farrell sisters. Smithfield will now face Toll Gate on Sunday at 4 p.m. at Brown University.
