Lone Oak High School Hosts Annual Summer Softball Camp

Lone Oak High School is actively investing in the future of its Lady Buffaloes softball team with its annual summer camp, which took place this week. The event welcomed young athletes from grades two through nine, offering tailored sessions to suit different age groups and skill levels.

Younger participants, from grades two to six, engaged in morning activities designed to introduce them to the fundamentals of softball. These sessions focused on basic skills and aimed to spark enthusiasm for the sport, encouraging these budding players to return in the future.

In the afternoon, athletes in grades seven through nine took part in more advanced drills that simulated game scenarios. These sessions were designed to hone their skills and prepare them for higher-level competition, ensuring they are ready to support the Lady Buffaloes program as they progress.
