Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard Represent LA on All-NBA Teams
Two Los Angeles players were selected for All-NBA teams for the 2025-26 season. Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic was named an All-NBA First Team selection, while Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard was an All-NBA Second Team honoree.
The NBA announced the All-NBA selections on Sunday.
This marks the sixth All-NBA selection of Doncic’s career but his first as a player for the Lakers. Leonard now also has six All-NBA honors to his name, with this season’s selection being his third Second Team recognition.
Both players are the face of their respective franchises. Doncic signed a three-year, $165 million maximum contract extension with the Lakers last summer and is looking to bring an NBA championship to Los Angeles in the near future. Meanwhile, Leonard is entering the final year of his three-year, $149.5 million contract with the Clippers.
Doncic led the league in scoring for the second time in three seasons, averaging 33.5 points in 64 regular season games. He also set a Lakers franchise record with 254 made 3-pointers and was named an All-Star for the sixth time in his career.
Doncic missed the Lakers’ entire playoff run with a Grade 2 hamstring strain he suffered at the end of the regular season.
Leonard is due for a contract extension with the Clippers but trade rumors have also circulated about the two-time NBA champion. This season, Leonard averaged 27.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists and shot 50.5% from the field across 65 games. He also earned the seventh All-Star selection of his career this season.
