Major Celebrities Opt Out of UFC Freedom 250 Event at the White House

The upcoming UFC Freedom 250 event scheduled for June 14 at the White House may not attract the star power organizers had hoped for. According to Vanity Fair, several prominent figures have declined their invitations to the historic gathering on the South Lawn.

Notable names such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Adam Sandler, Jared Leto, and Mario Lopez have opted out of attending the event, which will feature seven matches. The attendance of other celebrities like Tom Brady, Guy Ritchie, and Jason Statham remains uncertain, as they too were invited.

With approximately 4,300 seats in the temporary arena, securing tickets is expected to be a challenge. UFC CEO Dana White revealed that President Donald Trump has been allocated 1,000 tickets, while he has 200 and Ariel Emanuel, the CEO of the company that owns UFC, has also received 200 tickets.

The reasons behind the absence of big names like Johnson and Sandler remain unclear. Speculation includes concerns over the weather, as rain is possible, or the presence of large crowds, with around 85,000 fans anticipated to gather to watch on large screens nearby.
