Bergen Reilly recently made her feelings known about her 2028 LA Olympics dreams. She opened up about bringing the experience of training with the USA volleyball team to Nebraska.

After competing in the beach volleyball and spring exhibition matches for the Nebraska volleyball team, Reilly has actively transitioned into training with the senior US Women’s National Volleyball Team (WNT). She was officially invited to join the senior squad in Anaheim, California, to train and participate in the 2026 WNT Red-Blue Roster scrimmage in preparation for the Volleyball Nations League.

Amid her time with the USA Volleyball team, she recently spoke to USA Volleyball WNT, where she was asked about her experience of training with the US Women’s National Team. Calling it an ‘awesome’ experience, she revealed her excitement for the upcoming Olympics and opened up about her dreams. Stating that she will take this experience with her to Nebraska, she said:

“It’s awesome. It’s been such a high level gym to be in, and it’s something you dream of is the Olympic team and being around all of the best players in the country. It’s really cool the way that everyone communicates. It’s very intentional and everything they do, every rep that they make, it’s very professional. So taking that back to Nebraska and then into my pro career will be really crucial. It’s awesome getting to play in the US and knowing that the next Olympics is in the US. It’s really just makes me feel patriotic. Like I said, it’s just been awesome to be in this gym. It’s something you dream of and especially being in LA, it’s so cool,” said Bergen Reilly.

After completing her summer training with the US National Team, she will return to Lincoln to compete for the Nebraska volleyball team in the 2026 NCAA championships.

Bergen Reilly weighed in on handling social life and practice

Bergen Reilly spoke to Hail Varsity just ahead of the 2026 spring volleyball season, where she opened up about her game in the spring season. While discussing her strategies and her form for the spring season, she also opened up about how she balances her practice sessions and social life, simultaneously. Weighing in on her team dynamics outside the court, she said:

“It’s we’ve had to kind of focus more on like eating together at meals and stuff cuz usually we come to practice like an hour early and just sit in the locker room and talk and hang out. But um there’s not really a need for that here. So, um, we’ve been really just working on games outside of practice to help us grow. And spring’s always a great time to build the relationships and grow the bonds. So, we’re finding ways and it’s different, but it’s working for this team,” said Bergen Reilly.

Bergen Reilly and her team will next be seen competing in Spikes Under the Lights on August 27 at the AT&T Stadium.
