MayeDay Celebrity Softball Classic Launches with Star Power for Charity

Drake and Anne Michael Maye kicked off the inaugural MayeDay Family Foundation Celebrity Softball Classic in Worcester, aiming to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital. This event marked the first fundraiser organized by the Mayes for their foundation, with proceeds directed to the renowned hospital.

The softball game attracted a host of Boston sports legends to Polar Park, all rallying behind the charitable effort. Among the attendees were Hockey Hall of Famer Zdeno Chara, former Patriots star Julian Edelman, and current Patriots Head Coach Mike Vrabel, alongside active players such as Hunter Henry and Mike Onwenu.

During the match, Michael Maye showcased his skills by hitting a home run, while his wife, Anne, made it to first base with a single. Reflecting on the event’s significance, Maye emphasized the importance of supporting “a great cause.”

Interestingly, Maye chose not to address AJ Brown during the event, despite having discussed the player with Milton Williams, who was his teammate for three seasons in Philadelphia.
