The Miami Hurricanes are making headlines once again as they continue to bolster their roster under head coach Mario Cristobal. The excitement reached new heights on Wednesday evening when five-star defensive lineman Jaiden Bryant announced his commitment to Miami, flipping from LSU and declaring that he will no longer entertain other offers.

“HOW ABOUT THEM CANES 🙌🏾Recruiting shut down‼️,” Bryant tweeted, tagging several members of the coaching staff and celebrating his decision.

Bryant, who hails from Irmo, South Carolina, is highly regarded in the recruiting landscape, ranked as the No. 29 player overall, the No. 4 defensive lineman, and the top player in South Carolina for the 2027 recruiting class, according to Rivals and On3 Sports. His commitment follows a successful visit to Coral Gables, showcasing the effectiveness of Miami's recruiting efforts.

This marks the third significant recruiting victory for the Hurricanes in just a month, as Bryant joins five-star defensive back Donte Wright, who switched from Georgia, and wide receiver Ai’King Hall, who departed from Oregon. With three five-star recruits now committed, Miami stands among the elite in recruiting, trailing only Texas A&M, which has five five-star commitments. The Hurricanes currently sit in third place in team rankings, reflecting their impressive haul.

Welcome aboard, Jaiden!
