NASCAR Charlotte qualifying live results, Cup Series sets starting lineup

The NASCAR Cup Series begins the Charlotte race weekend with Coca-Cola 600 practice and qualifying on May 23.

The death of Kyle Busch on May 21 has rocked the garage. The No. 33 RCR Chevrolet was unloaded from the hauler earlier on May 23 in an emotional moment at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Austin Hill is driving the No. 33, whose number was changed from No. 8 in honor of Busch.

Rain has already forced the Truck Series race to be postponed and O'Reilly Auto Parts Series qualifying to be canceled on May 23, and rain chances fluctuate from 65% to 90% throughout the rest of the day per the National Weather Service.
