Nashville aims to 'reinvent the game' for 2030 Super Bowl

Wednesday was an exciting day in Nashville, full of announcements and a star-studded unveiling of the plan for the 2030 Super Bowl. 

Kicked off by Nashville resident and Super Bowl bid committee co-chair Jim Nance of CBS Sports, this was a significant moment for the city of Nashville and the Tennessee Titans organization. And as Nance declared, he will help ensure it is a memorable experience for all.

“We’re going to do it better than anyone,” Nance said during the opening remarks. 

The Super Bowl talk by no means ended there, with Titans President and CEO Burke Nihill speaking on behalf of owner Amy Adams Strunk.

Starting off with "This is not just a day that's going to come, but it's also a day to look back to 1960 and all the years in between that have made this moment possible. Looking ahead into 2030, there is no doubt that Nashville will reinvent the game for the Super Bowl and redefine what a great Super Bowl means, in the same way we did as a community with the 2019 NFL Draft.”

There is no doubt that Nashville will be able to put on a show and have a chance to be solidly in the Super Bowl rotation, infusing even more life into what is an electric city and a passionate fan base. And that was proven once again as the sun set on the Music City, and the first Super Bowl party kicked off.

2030 may seem like a long time from now, and who knows, maybe the resurgent Titans organization will be at a point where they can be competing to make it a home game, but until then, let the Super Bowl planning begin. And allow Nashville to show the league how a Super Bowl can be done.
