No. 3-ranked Wall Hawks baseball begins defense of state title on Wednesday
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The No. 3-ranked Wall High School baseball team is ready for the real fun to begin, as the Hawks begin defense of their state championship on Wednesday.
Wall finished the regular season at 21-8 overall and 12-0 in District 6-3A.
The Hawks open the playoffs with a best-of-three bi-district series against Blanco. Game 1 is 4 p.m. Wednesday in Brownwood, followed by Game 2 at 6. If needed, a third game will be Monday at a site to be determined.
