Notre Dame's Leonard Moore Takes Center Stage on EA Sports CFB 27 Cover

EA Sports is set to launch its highly anticipated College Football video game this July, marking a triumphant return to the franchise after a lengthy ten-year break largely attributed to legal complications. This year's edition, featuring an exciting twist, allows current college football players to appear on the cover, thanks to the implementation of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights. Notably, Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore has been selected to adorn the deluxe cover of CFB 27.

In an announcement that thrilled fans, EA Sports revealed the CFB 27 cover athletes, which also include Kewan Lacy, Malachi Toney, and Dante Moore, along with Coach Cignetti leading the Deluxe Edition. The news was shared via ESPN College Football's social media platform with the enthusiastic caption: "THE CFB 27 COVERS ARE REVEALED."

A complete gameplay reveal is scheduled for June 4, where a livestream will showcase the full scope of College Football 27 alongside Madden NFL 27. This event, branded as EA SPORTS Opening Drive, promises to elaborate on gameplay advancements, franchise options, and various modes available for both games.

It’s important to note that this year's iteration will not feature ESPN’s renowned commentator Kirk Herbstreit, a departure from previous editions of the franchise that included his voice. This absence has sparked conversations among fans eagerly anticipating the game's release.

With the combination of new player rights and innovative gameplay features, the excitement surrounding CFB 27 is palpable as the release date approaches.
