Oak Ridge pro golfer Scott Stallings promotes Visit Knoxvillle Open

The Visit Knoxville Open begins today and rus through May 24 at Holston Hills Country Club. Last month, professional golfer Scott Stallings, an Oak Ridge High School Class of 2003 graduate and Oak Ridge Sports Hall of Fame member, promoted the tournament and his youth program, both operated by the Tennessee Golf Foundation, at Dick's House of Sport in West Knoxville. The Scott Stallings Kids Play Free Junior Golf Initiative promotes unrestricted, free access for golfers under age 18 people at some U.S. courses. Stallings was an All-State golfer at ORHS and received a scholarship to play golf at Tennessee Tech before turning pro in 2007.
