The delay was initiated just as the ninth inning was about to commence.

The Rebels, with a season record of 37-21, recently experienced another lengthy game where weather played a role, battling Arizona State for 14 innings on May 29. Currently, there is no official timeline for when this game will resume. In the meantime, fans have been advised to leave the stands and seek shelter in their vehicles while the field is covered with a tarp in anticipation of further weather issues.
