The Baltimore Orioles made a minor trade with the Athletics on Friday.
The AL East club added a reliever with Major League experience while sending cash to the A's.
Baltimore acquired right-hander Eduarniel Nunez, who was previously designated for assignment by the A's.
Nunez made 10 appearances with the San Diego Padres and A's in 2025, allowing 10 earned runs in a combined 12.2 innings with the two clubs.
His numbers in the minors haven't been much better, as he posted a 5.56 ERA and 11 walks in 11.1 innings with Triple-A Las Vegas before the trade.
Nunez was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk after the trade.

Christian Roa, another one of Baltimore's right-handers, was designated for assignment, according to Steve Adams of MLB Trade Rumors.
This obviously isn't a groundbreaking trade for the Orioles, but they hope to make some minor adjustments to help Nunez become a contributing factor on the Major League roster.
