Orlando Magic odds: Here are the favorites to land head coaching job
The Orlando Magic fired head coach Jamahl Mosley earlier this month after the team blew a 3-1 lead to the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
According to Kalshi, former Chicago Bulls and University of Florida coach Billy Donovan is the heavy favorite to replace Mosley.
Per longtime NBA writer Marc Stein, Donovan has “an excellent shot” of landing the job.
San Antonio Spurs associate head coach Sean Sweeney, who is also among the favorites for the Dallas Mavericks job, is the second betting favorite (23%), while former Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau (2%) and current Michigan head coach Dusty May (1%) are also potential candidates. May and the Wolverines recently won the NCAA championship over Dan Hurley and UConn in April.
