Leandro Paredes has addressed the swirling rumors about a potential move to Inter Miami next season, allegedly at the behest of Lionel Messi. Before embarking on his World Cup journey, Paredes firmly denied any communication with Messi regarding a transfer. "I haven’t spoken to anyone, and Leo didn’t text me either," he stated in an interview with Lo del Pollo.

The midfielder further clarified that during discussions about Rodrigo de Paul possibly joining the team, Messi made it clear that Paredes was focused on his desire to return to Boca Juniors. "I want to be here to enjoy what I didn’t get to enjoy in my time before. I’m where I want to be, at the club I love, and that’s what matters," he emphasized.
