Rory McIlroy yells at rowdy PGA fan after errant shot: 'Shut the [expletive] up!'

Rory McIlroy is no stranger to having stuff yelled at him at golf tournaments ... but it's usually at the Ryder Cup where heckling is more accepted. And he's responded in kind to those fans.

This time? A viral video shows McIlroy hitting an errant shot that fell short of an Aronimink green and into a bunker. You can hear a fan shout "U-S-A!" after the miss and McIlroy responded: "Shut the [expletive] up!" He then pointed at the fan, possibly for security to remove.

McIlroy finished T7 at the major with a 4-under for the tournament. He has not commented further in the incident or why he got heated, but you can figure out why he might not want to hear that after a miss.
