ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark has stirred the pot with his recent remarks regarding three of football's most celebrated quarterbacks. During his appearance on "First Take," Clark asserted that Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Peyton Manning should not be classified as generational talents.

This discussion was sparked in the context of Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning, who is under scrutiny regarding his own status as a generational player. When asked about his perspective on true generational talents, Clark stated, "I think John Elway was a generational talent, I think Patrick Mahomes is a generational talent, I don't think Tom Brady, I don't think Drew Brees, I don't think Peyton Manning are generational talents.”

Stephen A. Smith joined the conversation, highlighting that he evaluates a player's generational status based on their performance. He argued that while Manning possesses considerable skill, he has yet to fully justify being labeled as a generational talent.
