Seacoast Tuesday Roundup: York girls lax trio helps team to .500, more results
GRAY, Maine - Evie Martin, Lucy Taylor and Emery Dodge all had two goals and two assists as the York High School girls lacrosse team beat Gray-New Gloucester/Poland, 12-2 in a Class B contest on Tuesday, May 19.
York is now 4-4 on the season.
Bridget Daly, Ella Neiverth, Elouise McAllister, Karina Hristov, Abby Kohler, and Emerson Clark all scored one goal for the Wildcats, while Elizabeth Chambers had two assists. York goalie Piper Schambach had six saves.

WATERBORO, Maine - Jolie Folger had three goals, and Maddy Poitras had two goals and one assist for Marshwood (4-5) in its Class A loss.
Maeve Long had one goal for the Hawks, while goalies Ellie Adams and Leigh Twohig combined for eight saves.

ROCHESTER - Michael Gorman didn't allow a hit and struck out seven as Dover improved to 12-3 with this Division I five-inning win at Spaulding High School.
Dover scored five runs in the fifth inning, and six in the fifth.
Sam MacGregor had two hits and two RBIs for the Green Wave, while Logan Mosher had one hit and two RBIs. Bjorn Miller (two hits, RBI), Ben Cheek (hit, run), Gage Brown (two hits, two runs), Connor Sprague (hit, RBI, run), Ethan Trufant (RBI, run) and Owen Lovering (hit, RBI, two runs) led the Dover offense.

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Sam Therrien had three hits, drove in two, and scored two runs as Marshwood improved to 2-8 with this Class A South win. The game ended after five innings due to the 10-run rule.
Therrien also earned the complete-game win, striking out six, allowing one hit and an unearned run.
Sam Gennaro and John Galuppo both had two hits for the Hawks, while Michael Sbrizza, Ethan Winchester, John Galuppo and Brady Isabelle all had one RBI.

CONCORD - Lucy Gelbstein had four hits, one RBI and scored one run for Winnacunnet in its Division I loss. Arden Langmaid had a hit and scored Winnacunnet's other run.
Fenway Schouller and Colette Le both had a hit for the Warriors.

MANCHESTER - Kaitlyn Jolicouer allowed four hits and struck out six as Dover improved to 5-7 with this Division I win.
Emma Shepard had four hits and two RBIs for the Green Wave, while Mollie Smith had three hits and three RBIs, and Brooke Jolicouer had two hits.

HILLSBORO - Hailey Anzmann allowed two hits and struck out nine over five innings as St. Thomas improved to 11-2 with this Division III win. The game was called after five innings due to weather.
Paige Pelletier had two hits and two RBIs for the Saints, while Anzmann and Maddie Hamilton both had two hits and scored a run, and Mattie Williams had one hit and scored a run.
Newmarket 8

FRANKLIN - Newmarket scored three runs in the eighth on a Brielle Duffy two-run triple, and a fielder's choice by Ava Zundell to improve to 5-7 with this Division IV win.
Zundell also tripled and scored a run, while Hannah Chesley, Grace Hiera and Anika Benson all had singles and Chesley, Mariza Zygouri, Hiera and Julianna Cote, Annaleigha Dotson all scored a run. Benson scored two runs.
Duffy struck out 12 and allowed three earned runs over eight innings, earning the win.

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - The Hawks improved to 5-7 with a Class A South doubleheader sweep. Each game was five innings.
In Game 1, Laurali Shisler had two hits and three RBIs, and Laynie LeBlanc had one hit and two RBIs. Lexy Boucher earned the win, scattering six hits and allowing one earned run over five innings, striking out two.
In the second game, Boucher had two hits and four RBIs, Zoe Carnes had two hits and three RBIs, and Evie Bennett had three hits and two RBIs. Boucher allowed two hits in 3.1 innings of scoreless relief, striking out four and earning the win.

MANCHESTER - Portsmouth's Aia Tracz (No. 2, 8-0), Elyse White (No. 3, 8-1), Aoife Ryan (No. 4, 8-0), Ailish Honda (No. 5, 8-0) and Harper Huskey (No. 6, 8-0) all finished their singles matches before rain cancelled the rest of the action.
Portsmouth improved to 11-1 with this Division II win.

NORTH CONWAY - Camryn Andrews (No. 1, 8-1), Hazel Brinser (No. 2, 8-1), Eliza Dwiputra Sumolang (No. 3, 8-0), Grace Bramhall (No. 4, 8-0), Camryn Morrissey (No. 5, 8-2) and Harper Babyak (No. 6, 8-0) all won in singles for Winnacunnet (10-2) in its Division II match.
In doubles, Bramhall and Brinser won 8-3 at No. 1, Olivia Hobbs and Megan Kelly won 8-3 at No. 2, and Luna Snell and Sabrina Canzano won 8-5 at No. 3.
