Stampede fans welcome home Clark Cup champions

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The celebration continued late into the night for Sioux Falls as Stampede fans welcomed home their champions.

The Herd arrived back at the Scheels Iceplex around 11:30pm on Sunday night, just over 24 hours after claiming the 2026 Clark Cup title. Sioux Falls defeated reigning champion Muskegon 4-3 in double overtime on Saturday night.

The championship marks the fourth Clark cup in team history and fans were with the team every step of the way.

Even the NHL joined the celebration online, congratulating the Stampede and sharing photos of current NHL players who once wore the Herd sweater.
