Steven Adams Supports Thunder at Western Conference Finals
During Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday night, Houston Rockets center Steven Adams was spotted cheering on his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Unfortunately, his presence did not translate into a win for Oklahoma City, as they suffered a narrow defeat to the San Antonio Spurs.
Adams, who has enjoyed a diverse career spanning four franchises, spent the longest period of his 12 years in the NBA with the Thunder, dedicating seven seasons to the team. He was selected as the 12th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft and recorded impressive averages of 9.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, one block, and 0.9 steals during his time in Oklahoma City.
Although it has been six years since Adams donned a Thunder jersey, a mural celebrating his contributions still adorns a wall in Oklahoma City, a testament to his lasting impact on the franchise.
