Top Players and Coaches Recognized in Broward 4A-1A Baseball Honors

The Broward 4A-1A baseball season has concluded, showcasing impressive talent across the league. This year’s standout players have been recognized in the first team, second team, and honorable mention categories, along with the outstanding coaching efforts that guided their teams.

Leading the first team is Caden Coleman from North Broward Prep, who excelled with a .327 batting average, nine home runs, and 26 RBIs, while also making a significant contribution on the mound with a 6-2 record and a 2.52 ERA. American Heritage's Angelo Geraldo followed closely with a remarkable .398 batting average and four homers. Other notable first-team players include Bryce Goldstein from Highlands Christian, who achieved a .565 average, and Trey Hollandsworth from Westminster Academy, who added pop to the lineup with two home runs and 10 extra-base hits.

Spencer Krasner of Chaminade-Madonna made waves as a pitcher, securing a 10-3 record and a 1.80 ERA. North Broward Prep's Julian Rodriguez led his team with 36 RBIs, while American Heritage's Gavin Ruvalcaba led in home runs with six. The first team also features Alex Smith, Zachary Tavarez, and Joshua Wright, each making significant contributions to their teams this season.

In the second team, players like Phillip Barris from Pompano Beach and A.J. Diaz from Chaminade-Madonna showcased their skills, while several honorable mentions from various schools also received recognition for their performances.

Coaching accolades were shared by Brian Campbell of North Broward Prep, who guided his team to a 25-8 record and a state title game appearance, and Juan Mora from Somerset Academy, who led the Panthers to their first full winning season since 2017 with a record of 17-14. This recognition highlights the dedication and skill present in Broward County's high school baseball scene.
