Delaney Schatschneider, Stevens Point girls soccer: Schatschneider, a freshman, scored two goals in a 7-0 win over Wausau East on Tuesday, May 12. Then cashed in another two goals in a 7-0 win over Wausau East on Thursday, May 14.
Amelia Castleberg, Stevens Poin girls soccert: Castleberg finished the week with nine total individual goals including a five-goal performance in a 8-0 win over Chippewa Falls on Saturday, May 16.
Harper Rogowski, Wittenberg-Birnamwood girls track and field: Rogowski claimed first place in the 400-meter and 800-meter races at the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Lions invite on Monday, May 11.
Elise Gibeault, Tomahawk girls track and field: Gibeault took first place in the 200-meter and 400-meter races and also the high jump event at the Hatchet invite on Tuesday, May 12.
Riya Ceballos, Almond-Bancroft softball: Ceballos smashed two home runs and drove in eight in Almond-Bancroft’s shut out victory over Pacelli.
Sam Nooyen, Amherst softball: Nooyen collected one hit and two RBI in a 11-1 win over Shicoton on Monday, May 11. On the hill she yielded five hits and one run while striking out eight. In the next out, Carlton struck out 13 to help Amherst edge Manawa 5-2
Taelyn Jirschele, Mosinee softball: Jirschele belted a home run across three hits and drove in a game-high of six runs in Mosinee’s 25-0 win over Northland Pines on Thursday, May 14. In the next game, Jirschel batted two more home runs and drove in six runs in a 29-0 routing of Rhinelander on Thursday, May 14.
Rylee Hraby, Medford softball: Hraby yielded zero hits and runs while striking out 13 in a 11-0 win over Rhinelander on Monday, May 11. At-bat she belted the game’s only triple.
Brett Olds, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln baseball: Olds dominated with two hits, one run, three RBI and a home run in Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln’s 18-0 win over Wausau East. On the hill, he yielded one hit and zero runs while striking out four.
Sully Perkins, Amherst baseball: Perkins tripled twice across two hits and three runs in a 19-3 win over Manawa on Thursday, May 14.
Kaden Kolodziej, Mosinee baseball: Kolodziej helped hand Rhinelander their first loss of the season, yielding four hits and zero earned runs, while striking out nine in a 2-0 victory.
