Vote now for the Chillicothe Gazette High School Athlete of the Week

The high school spring sports season is well underway. It’s your chance to vote for the Chillicothe Gazette High School Athlete of the Week for April 27 - May 3, 2026.

Fans are encouraged to vote in the Gazette Fan Poll to determine who they think had the most outstanding performance. Fans can vote as often as allowed.

The poll will run from 6 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Friday. The winner will be revealed soon after the survey concludes.

Huntington’s Kaedyn Baker was last week’s winner.

Here is the list of athletes:

Colton Garrison, Adena: He went 4-for-4 and had two RBIs against Southeastern.

Kenley Smith, Huntington: She went 4-for-5 with a home run, triple, four runs, and three RBIs against Green.

Colton Baxter, Southeastern: He went 5-for-5 against Adena.

Taylor Tisdale, Huntington: She went 4-for-5 with two doubles, three runs, and four RBIs against Green.

Sean Davis, Huntington: He pitched 3.3 innings in relief, allowing no runs and striking out seven against Piketon.

Mackenzie Welch, Unioto: She went 6-for-7, hit a home run, and had three RBIs in a 10-inning win.

Pierce Manson, Zane Trace: He pitched nine innings, gave up two hits, struck out 10, and didn’t walk a batter in a 2-0 win over Unioto.

Jayden Beverly, Chillicothe: He won the 400 (50.64) and 1,600 (4:37.53) at the Cole McCafferty Invitational.

Rylan Hamilton, Westfall: She went 4-for-6 with two doubles, a triple, and six RBIs against Unioto.
