White Sox Minor League Highlights: June 12, 2026

Anthony DePino delivered an impressive performance, hitting two home runs, including a dramatic walk-off, in the Birmingham Barons’ narrow victory. In other matchups, the Charlotte Knights showcased their power and resilience against the Oklahoma City Comets.

In a high-scoring affair, the Charlotte Knights triumphed over the Oklahoma City Comets with a 12-7 win, relying on a mix of small ball and explosive batting. Ryan Galanie stood out, hitting a home run and contributing to five of the team’s 11 RBIs, further solidifying his reputation as an underrated player. He was joined by Korey Lee and Junior Perez, who also launched homers, while Dustin Harris kept the offense alive with his singles despite the team striking out 11 times.

On the pitching side, Mason Adams faced challenges in his first Triple-A game of the season, allowing three runs over four innings but striking out five. Chase Plymell struggled in relief, surrendering three runs in just one inning. Fortunately for the Knights, a five-run seventh inning sealed the victory.

Meanwhile, the Barons edged the Biloxi Shuckers 3-2 in a tense game. Lucas Gordon excelled on the mound, yielding only one run over 5 1/3 innings, with Phil Fox stepping in to maintain the lead. However, a late-game error allowed the Shuckers to tie the game, but DePino's clutch performance in the ninth inning secured the win, marking his breakout season.

In the other minor league games, the Greenville Drive defeated the Winston-Salem Dash 10-5, helped by a shaky start from Max Banks. The Dash made a valiant effort to come back but fell short. Lastly, the Fredericksburg Nationals dominated the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers 12-4, as the Cannon Ballers struggled offensively and defensively, managing only six hits and committing three errors.
