3 bold predictions for Alabama vs. LSU in Tuscaloosa Super Regional

The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the LSU Tigers in a best-of-three series this weekend in the Tuscaloosa Super Regional. 

The Tide were excellent during the Tuscaloosa Regional against both USC Upstate and Belmont. Alabama didn’t surrender a single run across all three matchups last weekend, and the Tide will need to keep things rolling against the Tigers should they look to advance further in the NCAA Tournament. 

Here are three bold predictions for Alabama softball against LSU in the Tuscaloosa Super Regional. 

Kristen White shines offensively, records 4+ hits

White was excellent against both USC Upstate and Belmont last weekend. The star outfielder recorded four total hits during the Tuscaloosa Regional, while also driving in a run during the first contest of the weekend on Friday. 

White ended the regular season hitting an impressive .357, as the talented senior will look to keep things rolling against the Tigers this weekend. 

Jocelyn Briski, Vic Moten record 7+ strikeouts each

Both Briski and Moten have been widely regarded as two of the top pitchers in all of college softball this season. Briski currently finds herself in the running for the USA Softball Player of the Year, and the star flamethrower will need to be at her best against LSU once again.

Moten is one of the top overall freshman in the nation, and she could quickly find herself playing a critical role in the circle this weekend nonetheless. 

Brooke Wells stays red hot, records 2+ home runs

Wells was excellent in both games against USC Upstate last weekend. The superstar sophomore went 3-for-7 with four RBI against the Spartans, as Wells hit a massive home run during Sunday’s contest. 

Wells has been the top overall hitter in the Tide’s lineup this season, and the star finds herself in prime position for another massive series vs. LSU.

Alabama will begin their three-game set with the Tigers on Friday evening at 6 p.m. CT, as the Tide will look to keep things rolling throughout the postseason.
