All-Pro WR DeAndre Hopkins says he'd like to play alongside Joe Burrow

Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was asked what quarterback he would like to play with during an interview with Sports Illustrated on the Kentucky Derby red carpet.

"I gotta go with Joe Burrow. I think Joe is one of the best. I love his game, his toughness," Hopkins said, referring to the Bengals quarterback. "He took his team to a Super Bowl early in his career, and I feel like he can get back there with a little bit of help."

Hopkins, who will turn 34 in June, is a free agent after spending the 2025 season with the Baltimore Ravens. In 17 games, he had 22 catches for 330 yards and two touchdowns.

Hopkins, a former first-round draft pick, is a five-time All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection who spent his first seven seasons with the Houston Texans.

He then spent three seasons in Arizona (2020-2022) and has bounced around the league since with stints in Tennessee (2023-2024), Kansas City (2024) and Baltimore.

The Bengals picked Georgia wide receiver Colbie Young in the fourth round (No. 140 overall) in last month's draft.
