Arsenal to Celebrate Premier League Triumph with Grand Trophy Parade

Arsenal is set to celebrate their Premier League victory with a trophy parade in Islington on Sunday, featuring four open-top buses that will commence their journey at 14:00 BST. However, the festivities will be somewhat bittersweet after the men's team faced a disappointing penalty shootout loss to Paris St-Germain in the Champions League final on Saturday.

Both the men's and women's teams will participate in the event, with the women's squad showcasing the FIFA Women's Champions Cup, a title they secured earlier in the season. The parade will cover an approximate five-mile route that will pass through significant areas including Highbury, Canonbury, and Upper Street before concluding back at the Emirates Stadium.

The procession will begin at the stadium and make its way onto Holloway Road from Drayton Park. It will then proceed east along Seven Sisters Road, followed by a turn down Blackstock Road, Mount Grove Road, and Green Lanes. Continuing south, the route will take the buses along Petherton Road, Beresford Road, and Newington Green Road, before heading down Essex Road and turning north at Angel Tube station onto Upper Street, Islington's main thoroughfare.

As part of the security measures, the Emirates Stadium, Drayton Park, and nearby streets will be designated as no-pedestrian-access zones. Arsenal has requested that fans avoid gathering at the stadium and surrounding areas such as Hornsey Road, Benwell Road, and Drayton Park, as the teams will not be visible from those locations. Highbury Fields, located within the parade's loop near Highbury & Islington station, is anticipated to be one of the most crowded spots along the route.
