Sonia Citron is a star guard for the Washington Mystics of the WNBA. Citron was drafted by Washington out of Notre Dame with the third pick in the 2025 draft. She made the All-Star team in her rookie campaign. Citron made an immediate impression, going 6-for-7 in her WNBA debut, scoring 19 points in 24 minutes. She also was drafted by Hive BC of Unrivaled.

She is dating a Dallas Cowboy, Marist Liufau. They exchanged compliments on social media when Citron made the All-Star team: "All Star Game Day ⭐️," he wrote on Instagram. "Appreciation post for this amazing woman. You inspire me to be better every day in sports and in life. I love supporting you. You are more than deserving of all your blessings! 💗."
