Blue Angels and Thunderbirds Dazzle in Flyover at UFC Freedom 250

A spectacular joint flyover by the Navy's Blue Angels and the Air Force's Thunderbirds took place over the White House on Sunday evening, coinciding with the opening of UFC Freedom 250, where Zac Brown performed the national anthem.

The two elite aerial demonstration teams executed a Super Delta formation above the South Lawn, while President Donald Trump, accompanied by UFC CEO Dana White, saluted from the south portico. The event not only celebrated the UFC but also marked Trump's 80th birthday and served as a kickoff for the nation's upcoming 250th anniversary.

The weekend was filled with military displays, including performances by the Golden Knights parachute team, Marine drill units, and Nitro Circus stunt riders, all leading up to the fight night. Commentator Joe Rogan remarked that the scene was "the most surreal thing" he had ever witnessed.

Due to weather delays, the fights were pushed back by an hour, with the first bout scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. The evening's main event featured lightweight champion Ilia Topuria facing off against interim champion Justin Gaethje.
