INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — In a thrilling overtime showdown, Aliyah Boston scored 34 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, while Caitlin Clark contributed 32 points and 10 assists, leading the Indiana Fever to a 114-106 victory over the Chicago Sky on Thursday night.

The Fever held a tight lead late in the game, leading 96-93 with just 18.9 seconds left in regulation when Clark extended it with two successful free throws. However, a turnover on an inbounds pass allowed Skylar Diggins to tie the game at 98 with a deep three-pointer just before the buzzer.

In overtime, Boston's jumper from the free-throw line gave Indiana a 106-101 advantage, and Kelsey Mitchell followed up with a fast-break layup to increase the lead to seven points. Sydney Taylor of Chicago managed to narrow the gap to 109-106 with 24.1 seconds remaining, but Boston secured the win by converting two free throws. Chicago struggled in overtime, making only one of eight attempts from the field.

Mitchell finished with 19 points, and Lexie Hull added 11 for the Fever, who made a remarkable 23 consecutive free throws before their first miss came with 46 seconds left in overtime, where Clark went a perfect 15 for 15 from the charity stripe. For the Sky, Taylor was the top scorer with 30 points, while Diggins contributed 21, and Jacy Sheldon, Azura Stevens, and Kamilla Cardoso each scored 10 points.

Indiana had built a 19-point lead in the first half, but Chicago rallied with a 14-2 run to close the gap to 46-40 at halftime. The Sky then opened the third quarter with a 16-7 surge, taking their first lead since early in the game.

Looking ahead, Chicago will host New York on Wednesday, while Indiana is set to face Connecticut on Saturday.
