Broncos Players Face Pressure as 2026 Season Approaches

If he struggles to maintain his health, the Broncos could save $8 million by releasing him.

However, Infante argues that other players are facing even greater pressure than Dobbins. On the offensive front, the Broncos made a bold move to acquire wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, trading away first, third, and fourth-round picks. Waddle is seen as a crucial addition who could elevate the team's offensive capabilities, while Dobbins may only serve as a supplementary player in the rushing game. The team's success hinges more on Waddle's performance than that of Dobbins.

Defensively, Riley Moss is anticipated to feel the heat as well. With Pat Surtain II established as a top cornerback, opposing teams are likely to target Moss, who led the league with 10 pass interference penalties last season. As teams look to exploit this matchup, the pressure on Moss will be immense as he strives to improve his performance and avoid further penalties.
