Calvary's Braylun Huglon Commits to Colorado State Football Program
Braylun Huglon, a standout player from Calvary Baptist, has officially decided where he will continue his football career. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound senior announced via a post on X that he will be joining Colorado State this upcoming fall.
Huglon expressed his reasons for selecting CSU, highlighting the positive interactions he had with the coaching staff. “I’d say the coaching staff for sure,” he stated. “I liked how they treated me up there, and speaking with coach (Jim) Mora and coach (Pryce) Tracy and coach (Caleb) Wilson, they made me feel as comfortable as ever. And they made my family feel at home and treated them with much respect.”
During his time at Calvary, Huglon showcased his versatility under coach Rodney Guin, excelling in multiple roles. The CSU coaching team plans to utilize him primarily as a slot receiver. Last season, Huglon earned a spot on the Shreveport Times first-team after recording 76 receptions for 1,474 yards and scoring 21 touchdowns. He also contributed as a cornerback and handled both punt and kickoff returns.
Prior to committing to Colorado State, Huglon received attention from several prominent programs, including Houston, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and Texas Tech.
