Casemiro Shines for Brazil in International Friendly

On Sunday, Manchester United had two players representing their country in international football. With the World Cup approaching this summer, both players are gearing up for the prestigious tournament, particularly Casemiro, who is expected to leave Old Trafford soon, with reports linking him to Inter Miami.

In a commanding performance, Casemiro helped Brazil secure a 6-2 victory over Panama. He opened the scoring by heading in a shot from Vinicius Junior. During his 45-minute stint, he not only provided an assist but also completed 86% of his passes and successfully executed all of his dribbles. Defensively, Casemiro won both his tackle and aerial duels and triumphed in three ground duels.

On the other hand, Matheus Cunha faced a more difficult game. Despite his strong form with Manchester United in recent months, he unfortunately scored an own goal while attempting to defend a free kick, redirecting the ball past goalkeeper Alisson Becker. Cunha did not register any shots on target and struggled with his dribbling, failing in all three attempts. However, he did manage one key pass and completed 82% of his passes during his time on the field.

The Brazilian national team will look to build on their performance as they prepare for a friendly match against Egypt this coming Saturday.
