Recent speculation has tied the Boston Celtics to Giannis Antetokounmpo amid trade rumors, yet an insider indicates that no serious negotiations are currently occurring between the Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks.

In recent days, various reports have emerged claiming that Boston has made a proposal to acquire Antetokounmpo. Some sources have suggested that in order to facilitate such a trade, a third team may need to be involved to absorb Jaylen Brown. Despite the chatter, no concrete developments have materialized, leading to anticipation of a potential trade.

NBA insider Jake Fischer commented on the situation, expressing skepticism about the depth of discussions between the two teams. During a livestream for Bleacher Report, he stated, "I don't think there is any three-team conversation between Boston and Milwaukee right now because I don't think there's even really significant Milwaukee and Boston talks at this juncture."

In May, Bucks co-owner Jimmy Haslam suggested that resolving Antetokounmpo's future should ideally occur before the upcoming NBA Draft. With the draft just a week away, Fischer's insights underscore that discussions involving the Celtics and Antetokounmpo have not reached a significant stage yet.
